As a non-profit organisation our work is heavily dependent on volunteers and donations. Trustees and volunteers work for CNYTrust in their spare time and are not paid, so every donation goes directly towards helping another student get to school.
All donations received by CNYTrust are used either in our CNYTrust sponsor a child scholarship fund or put towards the maintenance or development of the CNYTrust school.
Because our work involves sponsoring the very poorest in society your donation goes a long way. For example, while £5 may only get a single day's travel card on the tube, the same amount would provide over 35 well balanced meals for a student.
CNYTrust is governed by a board of Trustees with accounts audited by an external consultant. Details of our financial transactions and expenditure accounts are available for inspection upon request.
Once our charity status is approved all donations will be eligible for tax-back. With our donation service being fully provided by Justgiving this means that getting the most out of your donation is easier than ever for UK tax payers.

Education is a worthy cause to support, not only are you helping the child you are helping the child's children, his or her's future generations and ultimately society as a whole. China in particular is facing an increasingly evident poverty gap as people living in the cities are enjoying the benefits of a booming economy and people in the rural areas are left behind.

In return you'll become a "Friend of CNYTrust" and receive free invitations to our events, be more closely involved with our developments, have the opportunity to visit our school and sponsored children and most importantly know that you are continually helping a great cause!
