Our Mission

The advancement of education of children and young people in rural China, in particular but not exclusively by assisting in the provision and improvement of facilities and resources in schools and the provision of bursaries

Our legal status

CNYTrust is a non-profit organisation run by a group of volunteers bound by the laws and regulations of the Trust deed. CNYTrust is a registered charity with the UK Charity Commission and its Charity number is 1107782.

The Trustees/ Committee

Trustees are typically elected from a the pool of CNYTrust Society ex-committee members as we consider the experience and understanding gained from the society are necessary to fully contribute to the running of the Trust. However we welcome outside applications and encourage you to contact one of us should you be interested. There are seven Trustees who run on a four year term of office.
